Via dei Molini, 22, 53019 Villa A Sesta Siena, Italy
Podere Bellavista is a farm estate in the heart of the Chianti Classico, with a great location, near Siena, wonderful views and a fantastic restructuring. It is comprised of three elegant buildings central to 2,5 hectares of land with olive trees, woods and cypresses.
The main country home is divided on two floors for about 340 squared meters all, and it was completely restructured fifteen years ago with first-rate materials both as regards to the building infrastructure and to the choice of finishing details. This master villa is originally from the 13th century and it’s charm derives in part from its vaulted ceilings, choice of materials such as marble details and locks and handles from the 18th century. This country home lives and breathers essential Tuscan style.
This elegant villa is set on two main levels plus the small attic (colombaia). On the ground floor there is a grand entry hallway, a large living room, a dining room, a kitchen with lunch area, a bathroom, a laundry room and a technical devices room (safety alarm, tv decoders, telephone switchboard). On the first floor there is a large master bedroom, with bathroom en-suite and walk-in closet, a second master suite, with bathroom en-suite, and two large bedrooms that share a third bathroom. There is plenty of storage space and a cosy attic that can serve as small room or studio with views.
A second farmhouse that has been completely rebuilt has been provided with electrical and hydraulic systems and with all the pipes necessary for the heating system. The building has been arranged on the ground floor as a two bedroom and two bathroom apartment, with kitchen and living and dining area within 110 squared meters. There is also an underground area of 120 sqm currently subdivided into three large storage spaces (cantinas) to be assigned to each building on the land.
The third building orignally a haybarn, sits overlooking Siena, and has been approved to be built into 160 sqm on two levels, but is currently in need of restructuring.
The main villa, the haybarn and the farmhouse sit in a landscaped garden with 360 degree views, an orchard, woods with oaks, holms and cypressees and 500 olive trees. Definitively a strong point of this property is its layout and the incomparable open views.
